The Water’s Edge Apartments

The Water’s Edge Apartments,is a large apartment complex situated in Cleveland. Apartment buildings are generally very large energy users with tenants having the luxury of a fully air-conditioned building, elevators, remote garage facilities and security camera’s, all of which generate huge amounts of power consistently. In order to cut down some of these costs, Goodhew worked closely with the team at The Water’s Edge Apartments to design a system that would be best suited to their needs. Great amounts of planning and preparation went into the installation of this system with a massive crane needed to get the equipment up onto the roof.

The Water’s Edge Apartments has had a 35kW system installed by Goodhew Electrical and Solar in March 2016. This solar system is made up of 144 x 250w panels, 6 x 5kW inverters and tilt racking.
